Fullstack Student Final Projects

Capstone projects represent the culmination of a Fullstack student's hard work throughout the immersive program. These final projects are completed over the last 3 weeks on campus and integrate all of the technologies learned over the previous months (and often new ones).

Students work in teams of three to four people to develop impressive web/mobile applications, which serve as a centerpiece of a graduate's coding portfolio. They are presented to companies at Hiring Day during the final week on campus. Check out a selection of recent capstone project videos below.

WAT

WHT (Where Are They) is a social app that allows you locate your group of friends and family using your phone!

Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs is an augmented reality React-Native iOS app inspired by Hansel and Gretel. Users can create or follow a trail of AR breadcrumbs, rendered as 3D floating orbs through your phone's camera. Being independent of a map-based API, our app utilizes your relative location to provide small scale accuracy where Google Maps would fail. Or if you're feeing adventurous, follow another user's trail to explore the road best travelled. Breadcrumbs is your beacon back home.

Adventure A Day

A progressive web app designed to encourage users to explore new places and keep in touch with friends and family around the world. Users receive daily challenges, upload photos of their experiences, and connect with “teams” through photos and message boards.

Flock

Group travel planning app for long-distance friends, executed with Agile team. Generates the cheapest destinations and hotels for all parties from disparate cities, enables searching for activities, provides dynamic drag- and-drop planning boards and calendar for real-time group collaboration, and produces an interactive map showing daily routes based on activity selection.
